Our 3d printed commercial drone build ser #1 uses the Kore carrier board. as we are developing testing and trying alternate controllers we purchased a mini carrier board for our x-class racer but now realize the cube is not the right fit for a racer.
During our small class racer build alot has been learned on what is needed and what is not. Also we have been exposed to some exceptional controllers and new ones being made available every day.
The decision to use this smaller board was because we are already working the Kore carrier board and we wanted the experience using the power management system separate from the main board.
